We use the preposition “to” in this case as we are “sending” our “best wishes” from one place to another and the preposition is usually used when something moves.

We use “best wishes to you” when we want to wish them luck. We don’t usually use “best wishes to you” when we will see the person soon after.

Best wishes to you and your family meaning

“Best wishes to you and your family” is a way to say that you want to send good wishes to someone and their family.

It is a very nice thing to say and could be a greeting on a card or a present.

Best wishes to you and yours

“best wishes to you and yours” means something similar to “best wishes to you and your family”

“Yours” in this instance means “your family” or “your loved ones” in other words the people that are closest to you.

Again, this could be something that people write on a card or a present.
